Gang Gang Dance
Here are a couple of blurry camera-phone snapshots from tonight's mesmerizingly great Gang Gang Dance show at Local 506.

I saw them a couple of weeks ago, and it was one of the best shows I've been to this year.

so, does this mean i have to believe the hype?

maybe i'm biased, but I'd have to say that Bloodlines and Gang Gang Dance didn't come anywhere close to Boner Machine. BM even had a soundcheck for this show. A first!

Probably wasn't the best show I've seen all year but I was way into Gang Gang Dance, the God's Money-type stuff works really well live.
In general, I maintain a healthy amount of skepticism with regard to the newest round of New York noise, but GGD is definitely worth checking out the next time they come through.

Actually, I knew I was going to go, I just didn't know that I would enjoy it as much as I did.
