A scan of one of my last pre-digital photos, taken over five years ago at the edge of the real Tuba City (the one in Arizona). This was taken during my first-ever trip out West. Tuba City is a pretty desolate town on the western half of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Northeastern Arizona. As depressing a place as it was, I was really glad that we stopped there long enough to grab a bite and look around. Though I had no idea at the time that I would someday wind up borrowing the city's name for my weblog.
Which brings us back to 2004. The virtual Tuba City is undergoing a bit of a slow-growth period at this time. Zoning restrictions are being debated, and the mayor is about to head out of town for another Western vacation. Photo updates are possible if the time budget allows and if the digital infrastructure is there to support such endeavors. Hágoónee'!

My moms side of the family lives there, and I visit quite often.
I love it there.
My favorite place to go is this little cliff near the Texaco just before the curve to enter the city.
I love this town!
An actual Tuba City native! That's awesome. Sir, I tip my hat to you and your hometown.
